1) What is Reiki?
Reiki is a holistic healing practice that supports the body’s natural ability to heal. It is effective and works harmoniously with all medical and therapeutic techniques. I have successfully treated patients with Reiki in the following areas:
Relief from acute and chronic pain
Reduction in reactivity to triggers
Stress reduction and improved sleep
Assistance with life major life transitions
Relief from depression and anxiety
Activation of intuitive and spiritual gifts
Restoring balance emotionally, mentally, and physically
2) What can I expect during a my Reiki session?
I spend the first 10 minutes of the session checking in with you about your symptoms (physically and emotionally). You have the choice to lay down on the massage table or chair provided and will be fully clothed during your session You may feel warm in the areas of your body where my hands are placed. Halfway through the session I will have patients turn over so I can treat the other side of their body. Often patients experience deep relaxation, drift into a light sleep, and awaken refreshed with new insight.
3) Please describe a distance Reiki session?
A distance Reiki session is similar to an in-person session, however, I use a proxy to help me visualize what areas of the body to encourage the “ki” to go. I will often use a stuffed animal toy or crystal of your choice as the proxy.
4) What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
All cancelled or rescheduled appointments must be done 48 hours prior to the appointment time to avoid incurring a $50 fee. Exceptions will be made for illness and family emergencies.
